Happy Thanksgiving, Mamas! Hope your bellies are full (mine certainly is) and that you spent the day with those you love. Check out my Thanksgiving post for Westchester County Moms Blog!
Guys… I am so excited to share both our baby’s first name as well as his woodland-themed nursery with you all! If any you were wondering: picking our baby boy’s name was fairly easy since Joe and I only agreed on two names. So Liam and Noah it is! I’m so glad I was able to […]
As a second time mom, I’m realizing more and more the importance of a healthy lifestyle when it comes to fertility, pregnancy, and the postpartum months that follow. Many argue that it’s all about the baby, but I beg to differ: if Mom isn’t healthy and isn’t well, physically and mentally, baby can’t possibly thrive. […]
The most difficult realization I’ve come to in the last few weeks is that, soon, Liam will no longer have our undivided attention. He’ll have to share us with a little human who can’t yet communicate, cries a lot, and monopolizes Mommy’s time. He’ll realize that he often has to play independently to let us […]
Another month, another roundup! When you find a gem, it’s selfish not to share, right? Here are my picks for the month for November: I found this ArtNaturals set purely by accident and thought, why not? I’ll give it a shot. Turns out it has now become a staple in our home and an essential part […]
Even before I started reading Wild Things: The Art of Nurturing Boys by Stephen James and David Thomas, I already knew that little boys were nothing like little girls. It was obvious from our earliest play dates, simply observing the way my son and his little friends interacted with the world. I’d watch, in awe, […]
As I prepare for baby boy number two’s arrival, I am also discovering new brands and products along the way. As you already know if you follow Mama Naturelle, my focus is always on health, eco-friendliness, and comfort & practicality. Every month I will share a few of my family’s favorites, and hopefully you will […]
When I found out I was pregnant for the first time, three years ago exactly, I remember being flooded with clashing emotions that I had never experienced before in my life. Of course, I was ecstatic. But, deep down I felt a pinch of anxiety that didn’t fully go away until I delivered my son […]
Considering that I’ve been meat, dairy, and egg free for almost five months, a vegan post was way overdue. And just to clarify: this post is not to try to sway you meat-eaters out there. It’s to open some minds and broaden some perspectives on what a vegan diet consists of. To finally address the […]
People are surprised when I tell them I am way more nervous this time around. When I was pregnant with Liam, I didn’t know many moms, or many babies for that matter, and the whole nine months was one big adventure. I didn’t know what to expect, so I rode the wave until delivery. Ignorance […]
It’s that time of the year again, but it doesn’t have to be all about those apples! Check out my post for Westchester County Moms Blog and discover the many treasures you can pick locally!
I too often get asked why in the world I left the Caribbean to come to New York almost a decade ago. Saint Martin is, indeed, viewed as one of the most picture perfect destinations on the planet. Sandy beaches, tropical breeze, easygoing island vibe… Really, what else could you ask for? Unfortunately, what those […]
Hi guys! We’ve been so incredibly busy this week with Liam and appointments (so sorry for being MIA!), but it was so worth it. We found out some incredible news 🙂 and couldn’t be happier to finally know the gender of our little baby to be! When I was pregnant with Liam, my husband was adamant on […]
Hi Mamas! Now that the cat’s out of the bag, I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to write from a pregnancy standpoint again. I loved sharing my journey towards a natural birth when I was pregnant with Liam, and am thrilled to be able to share some of my experiences […]
Hi Mamas! Today, Joe and I are celebrating our relationship, our family, and the home we built together. Three years have flown by, and quite a lot has changed since that summer day we exchanged our vows with our feet in the sand and the push and pull of waves in the distance. Actually… Everything […]
